About Dario Chairmaker

I love hand making Windsor chairs in my one man workshop here in Warwick, using traditional methods and tools. I think that my enjoyment of this craft shows through in the finished chairs. I source most of the timber from local woodlands. My range includes side chairs, arm chairs, bar stools and rockers. I post works in progress on Instagram and finished chairs on Facebook, Etsy and my website.

I have been making and fixing things since I was a child; Lego, Airfix kits, stunt courses influenced by the Kickstart TV show, bows and arrows, swords (Dogtanian and the Three Muskehounds influenced that one). From tinkering with old cars and restoring a 1953 Matchless G9, to drum making, I eventually found woodworking. I find the peaceful nature of green woodworking to be relaxing and this results in lovely chairs, that are both comfortable and wonderful to just look at.

Please don't worry if you are not local to Warwick, as there is always a way to get a chair to you. I prefer to deliver chairs, myself. I can ensure they are transported properly and I also get to see the finished chairs in their new home. So, if you live within a day's drive there and back, I'd be happy to deliver. If you live further afield, I'm sure we can sort something out.
